It grows from the same commitment that guides my research, that young people and teachers should be centered in educational change and not merely recipients of it.</p> <p>From 2023 to 2025, I served as co-chair of the AI, Digital Learning &amp; Digital Transformation group within the SDG4 Youth &amp; Student Network, sponsored by UNESCO. I remain a network member. The initiative grew from a problem I encountered as a research teacher: students were expected to conduct consequential projects, while many teachers had limited access to specialized preparation, disciplinary networks, and research infrastructure.</p> <p>Tanim Talino helps students and teachers resolve concerns across the research process.</p> <h2 id="tanim-talino-consultations">Tanim Talino Consultations</h2> <p>We offer free online consultations on a per-concern basis for any part of a STEM research project. Since 2021, we have supported more than 2,000 students across the Philippines as they navigate novel scientific inquiry.</p> <h2 id="tanim-talino-learn">Tanim Talino Learn</h2> <p>We craft and publish learning materials in Filipino and English across the STEM research process.</p> <h2 id="connect-talino">Connect Talino</h2> <p>We also maintain an online community of practice that brings together approximately 2,000 teachers and STEM professionals for shared support and learning in STEM research teaching. Tanim Talino has also conducted outreach events for students and teachers across Philippine cities.</p> <p>In 2025, I worked with Tanim Talino colleagues on a position paper concerning the proposed Research Methods and Design and Innovation subjects in the new Philippine Department of Education senior-high-school curriculum. The paper was submitted to the Department of Education.</p>
